Abstract
627 appendectomies in childhood, performed since 1990 to 1996 at the C linic of Paediatric surgery of the Neubrandenburg Hospital, were analy sed. It's a retrospective study about aspects of diagnosis, differenti al diagnosis and surgical treatment.
