The authors report one case of complex suicide, of which establishing
the exact circumstances of death (homicide, accident or suicide) and s
tudying the gesture accomplishement (chronology, feasibility by only o
ne person) was difficult for the forensic pathologists. Using the psyc
hological autopsy method, they restore a psychiatric diagnosis for the
dead patient and purpose psychopathological hypothesis. They finally
stress the necessity of not to be satisfied with an incomplete respons
e to treatment.
