J. Wild et al., 80 K SUPERCONDUCTING BI-SR-CA-CU-O LAYERS PREPARED BY LASER-ABLATION IN THE AIR, Superconductor science and technology (Print), 11(11), 1998, pp. 1341-1343
The method of laser ablation in air, i.e. without the use of a vacuum
chamber, was employed to prepare highly oriented Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O layers
with a critical zero-resistance temperature of T-C = 80 K. The propert
ies of these layers were studied by the SEM and x-ray diffraction meth
ods and by measuring the magnetic susceptibility.
