Vv. Valuev et al., ADJUSTMENT OF UNSTABLE CAVITIES USING A LIQUID-FILLED LASER CELL-BASED ON ORGANIC-DYE SOLUTIONS, Journal of optical technology, 65(11), 1998, pp. 950-951
This paper presents a technique for adjusting unstable cavities, using
a laser liquid cell based on organic dyes, that guarantees that the c
avity will be adjusted with an accuracy of 1 mu rad. The use of annula
r beams of illumination radiation in the adjustment technique made it
possible, by forming positive optical feedback, to simplify the proces
s of bringing into coincidence the axis of the cavity to be adjusted a
nd the axis of the beam of illumination radiation being scanned over a
circle and to adjust not only the cavity mirror but also the mirror o
f the system for forming the main laser beam. (C) 1998 The Optical Soc
