Abstract
Vapor-liquid equilibrium (VLE) data are presented for the ternary syst em ethanol-tert-amyl methyl ether (TAME)-toluene at 333.15 K. The expe rimental results were measured by using a Boublik vapor-liquid recircu lation still. The results are compared with values predicted from the PRSV equation of state with the modified Huron-Vidal first order (MHV1 ) and Wong-Sandler (WS) mixing rules. Good agreement is obtained.
