Abstract
Using the extended Su-Schrieffer-Heeger (SSH) model, we have calculate d the linear polarizability alpha for five different C-78 fullerene is omers. Our numerical calculation results indicate that both symmetry a nd shape of the isomers have great effect on their linear optical prop erties.
