Ja. Caballero et al., RELATIVISTIC CURRENT DENSITIES FOR BOUND SPIN-ORBIT PARTNERS AND THE LONGITUDINAL-TRANSVERSE RESPONSE IN (E,E'P) PROCESSES, Nuclear physics. A, 643(2), 1998, pp. 189-204
Scalar, baryon and vector-current densities in coordinate and momentum
space are calculated within a relativistic mean-field model. The role
of the low components of the bound nucleon wave function is investiga
ted in detail for different spin-orbit partner shells. We show that th
e relative importance of the negative-energy projection components can
be explained from the different quantum numbers involved in the relat
ivistic wave function. This fact has proved to be important in the ana
lysis of various electron scattering observables even for low-medium v
alues of the bound nucleon momentum, (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B,V.
