Abstract
In previous studies on a variety of unirradiated materials, a linear r elationship was developed between uniaxial tensile strength and effect ive shear strength, as determined from the shear punch test (SPT). Usi ng the same data, a correlation was also developed to predict tensile uniform elongation from shear punch data. Validation of both correlati ons using a new database on both irradiated and unirradiated materials has been completed successfully. (C) 1998 Published by Elsevier Scien ce B.V. All rights observed.
