Abstract
Although primary malignant neoplasms of the connective tissues are unc ommon, they have been subjected to intense study by modern molecular a nd other analytical techniques. Aberrations of genes and their product s are providing insights into aetiopathogenesis and indicating improve d methods of histopathological diagnosis and patient management.
