Abstract
The multifractal negative binomial distribution derived from the nonli near Markov process has been used to explain the multiplicity distribu tions in high-energy e(+)e(-) and (p)over-bar-p interactions. The anal ysis aims at explaining the shoulder structure and high-multiplicity t ail of these distributions and determining the strength of influence o f nonlinearity in the restricted phase-space intervals which is relate d to the degree of multifractality.
