Abstract
The drive to deliver an increasingly diverse range of telecommunicatio ns products over an access network, designed originally for the delive ry of telephony, has demanded, in recent years, the development and de ployment of a range of copper, fibre and radio-based delivery solution s. This paper outlines the history and the current status of some of t he key access delivery solutions that exist within BT's portfolio of a ccess components today.
