Abstract
Terahertz waveforms measured by free-space electro-optic sampling and a photoconductive dipole antenna were carefully compared. We show that the difference between the waveforms could be explained quantitativel y in terms of carrier lifetime and frequency dependent response of the photoconductive receiver antenna.
