Abstract
We construct induced representations of U = U-q(so(3)) congruent to U- q(sl(2)) on suitable cosets of the matrix quantum group SOq(3). From t hese we obtain canonically finite-dimensional representations of U onl y of odd dimension, i.e. of integer spin. The matrix elements of these finite-dimensional representations are different from the standard U ones. which will be essential at least for the roots of unity case.
