The analytical relationships for describing sections of the limiting h
ysteresis loop of the ferromagnetic body are analyzed. Taking into acc
ount the approximation [24] of the symmetric hysteresis loop of a ferr
omagnetic material in relation to the internal field of she body and i
ts magnetization and the strength of the external field, the authors d
erive an analytical expression for a complete description of the limit
ing hysteresis loop of the ferromagnetic body. The effect of the dimen
sions of the cylinders made of different materials on the shape of the
hysteresis loop is analyzed. The dimensions of cores ensuring the max
imum differential permeability in the given demagnetizing field are ca
lculated.
