A new metallic anion adsorbent quinine-loaded active carbon was prepar
ed, ICP-AES was used to study its adsorptive property for metallic ani
on WO42-. Th, chemical stability of the adsorbent was investigated, Th
e effects of different concentrations of HCl and NH3 . H2O solution on
adsorption rate and desorption rate as well as the interference effec
ts of some other ions were studied respectively, The method has been a
pplied to the determination of trace tungsten in standard reference sa
mple GSD-11.
