Reactions of hydridophosphorane 3 with Vilsmeier re-agents, (HCONRR2)- R-1/POCl3, afford novel N,N-disubstituted amino bisphosphoranyl methan es4. The formation of 4 might occur via the intermediate 5, which then reacts further with excess 3. (C) 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
