Abstract
We report electrical measurements in different Pb[(Mg1/3Nb2/3)(0.9)Ti- 0.1]O-3 ceramics exhibiting a spontaneous relaxer to ferroelectric tra nsition. Both the relaxer behavior and the phase transition are found to depend strongly on the lead vacancies content. An explanation based on an increase of the ordered domains and lesser interactions between polar clusters accounts for the experimental observations. (C) 1997 A merican Institute of Physics.
