Abstract
High performance multiwall sack paper requires exceptionally high CD a nd MD Tensile Energy Absorbtion combined with low air resistance. This is achieved through a combination of high and low consistency refinin g, while maintaining a maximum first pass retention in order to keep a ir resistance as low as possible. Stock preparation, wet end chemistry and machine design must all be combined to obtain the required sheet properties for high performance multiwall sack.
