Abstract
A mixed ligand cluster, [Cp(3)(Ph2C2S2)Fe4S5](BF4). Me2CO, was synthe sized and its X-ray crystal structure was determined. From the compari son of this structure with those of Cp(3)(Ph2C2S2)Fe4S5 . THF, [Cp*(3 )(Ph2C2S2)Fe4S5](PF6). 2Me(2)CO, and [Cp(3)(Ph2C2S2)Fe4S5](PF6)(2) . Me2CO which have been reported previously, it is concluded that the Fe 4S5 core of the clusters is flexible and easily undergoes deformation.
