Abstract
Cymbidium sinense is a popular terrestrial orchid in South China. Rese arch involving photosynthesis, photoassimilate partitioning, respirati on, water relation, mineral nutrition, growth and development of this orchid are reviewed. It is suggested that understanding C. sinense phy siology may be helpful to the improvement of cultivation techniques. ( C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
