Abstract
We study the dielectric relaxation in a hydrogen-bonded mixed ferro-an d antiferroelectric crystal based on the mean field analysis of an Isi ng model (with quenched disorder) in a transverse field. We compare ou r results with existing measurements on Rb1-x(NH4)(x)H2PO4. We find th at strong quantum effects lead to unusual behaviour hitherto unobserve d in experiments.
