Abstract
The dandelion is one of the most widely distributed plants in the world, Ad ults and children alike recognize the dandelion's bright yellow blossoms th at run along road-sides, spangle ditch banks, and flow across fields like m olten gold. Beekeepers in dandelion country-which is almost anywhere-have g ood reason to love this hardy perennial for dandelions provide early pollen and nectar ill abundance, Blooming as they do after the willows and before fruit frees, dandelions provide an important stimulus to rapid spring buil d up.
