Abstract
The bias of transfer function in numerical solution of ordinary differentia l equations is studied in frequency domain. Explicit formulas are given for two particular cases widely used in reactor physics. Comparing the frequen cy characteristics of numerical method with the real transfer function one can reduce the inaccuracy with a suitable selection of step-size. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd.
