Abstract
To combine the advantages of conventional and modified ultrafiltration whil e keeping cardiopulmonary bypass technique simple, we have developed a simp lified circuit of combined ultrafiltration, which is presently used in our pediatric patients. In addition to the benefits of combined ultrafiltration , this circuit allows the rewarming and prevention of heat loss in small ch ildren and neonates.
