Abstract
The alternatives for bioconversion of monoethanolamine(MEA), which wou ld appear in large quantities in industrial effluent of CO2-removal pr ocess of power companies, have been proposed by investigating the abil ity of some microoganisms to deaminate MEA. An evaluation of biotechno logy, which include productions from MEA of acetic acid and acetaldehy de with Escherichia coli, of formic and acetic acids with Clostridium formicoaceticum, confirms and extends our earlier remarks on availabil ity of ecotehnology for solving above problem.
