Abstract
Recent studies of the genus Lactarius in Belgium are compared with the data published by HEINEMANN (1948, 1960), Typifications of Lactarius velutinus Bertillon and L. zonarius (Bull.) Fr. are proposed to solve some nomenclatu ral problems dealt with. Representatives of the section Plinthogali in the area are keyed out and discussed, including distribution maps of Lactarius acris (Bolton : Fr.) Gray and L. lignyotus Fr., and a typification of L. az onites (Bull.) Fr.
