Abstract
According to published reports, Wood Ducks Aix sponsa rarely eat vertebrate s, and there is only one documented account in the scientific literature of Wood Ducks eating frogs. Here we report on a Wood Duck shot in September 1 997 near Sudbury, Ontario, that had consumed three Mink Frogs (Rana septent rionalis).
