Abstract
Quantum paraelectric La1/2Na1/2TiO3 nanocrystals have successfully been pre pared by using improved sol-gel method in which absolute alcohol and steari c acid were used as the solvent, X-ray diffraction results show that the as -prepared sample is a pure La1/2Na1/2TiO3 with an acubic perovskite-type st ructure, The mean crystallite sizes were controlled by varying annealing te mperatures. FTIR and Raman measurements reveal nano-size effects on the vib ration spectroscopic properties of the nanocrystalline La1/2Na1/2TiO3.
