Abstract
The ordered two-dimensional nano-structured conducting polymer films of a p -aminothiolphenol/polyaniline (PATP/PANI) on Au is fabricated by electroche mical-assembly (ECA) which isa new method first reported by our group. The surface topography, property and structure of PATP/PANI polymer films were investigated using scanning tunneling microscopy(STM), surface enhanced Ram an scattering (SERS) and cyclic voltammetry. The results indicate that such oligomer films comprise ordered nano-structured, clusters. The surface of the films is close-packed, homogeneous, flat in two-dimension. The electron transfer performance of PATP/PANI films is rather high.
