Abstract
This paper has developed a short, practical, highly stereoselective synthet
ic approach to L-threo-dihydrosphingosines from L-serine. All compounds wer
e substantiated by MS, IR, H-1 NMR and elementary analysis. The spectra dat
a of 6b were in agreement with those from literature.
