Abstract
The electrophilic substitutions of di and tri substituted imidazo[2,1- b]oxazoles were studied. Mannich, bromination, nitration, and the Vils meier-Haack formylation reactions occur at position-5 of this ring sys tem to give a range of products in high yield. (C) 1997 Elsevier Scien ce Ltd.
