Abstract
This part deals with shock structure and its limit for conservative and non conservative formulations. In particular, the entropy jumps across inviscid shocks using different artificial viscosity forms are calculated. The effe cts of real viscosity for the two-dimensional airfoil problem are also stud ied. Nonunique solutions of Navier-Stokes equations for transonic flows are presented for simple symmetric configurations. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science L td. All rights reserved.
