IMPACT OF COOL STORAGE AIR-CONDITIONING IN COMMERCIAL SECTOR ON POWER-SYSTEM OPERATION IN THAILAND

The results are presented from an investigation into the potential app lication for cool storage air-conditioning, and the resultant benefici al impact on power system operation in Thailand is discussed Field ass essment through interviews with decision makers in the identified cust omer groups produces results that show good potential for cool storage application. Results from a computer program used to calculate power production cost and other characteristics shaw that substantial benefi ts would also accrue to the generating utility.
