The components of the tensors of piezoelectric moduli, dielectric constants
, and elastic compliances are calculated within the self-consistency approx
imation for three ferroelectric modifications of the depolarized BaTiO3 cer
amic. The calculated and the measured values of the components are compared
. It is concluded that the proper piezoelectric effect (corresponding to th
e static domain structure of crystallites) in the depolarized ceramic can b
e masked by various domain processes.
