Abstract
A rapidly spreading plaque of seborrheic keratosis developed following liqu id nitrogen treatment and involuted quietly after a dermatitis developed, p olymerase chain reaction of the tissue did not demonstrate papillomavirus D NA. Seborrheic keratoses can both develop and involute from more than one c ause.
