Abstract
The fabrication of transmission filters with single or multiple flattened p assbands based on chirped Moire gratings is reported. The gratings are fabr icated by the dual-exposure of a single chirped phase mask in conjunction w ith an amplitude mask. The filters have a ripple < 0.5dB in the passband, e xhibit an isolation of > 12dB, and have near-constant in-band group delay.
