B. Sandler et al., An improved method for isolation and purification of soluble tumor-associated proteins from the serum of cancer patients, EXP ONCOL, 21(1), 1999, pp. 55-58
A simple, rapid and effective method for the isolation of the soluble tumor
-associated antigens from cancer patient serum is described. The method is
based on the use of gel fiberglass (GFG) affinity chromatography and BioGel
P-60 columns which enable isolation of single proteins from blood sera. GF
G is a new affinity biosensor for isolation of human s53 antigen using rabb
it anti-s53 IgG. The described method may be used for the purification of d
ifferent organ-specific antigens which are of interest in biology and medic
ine.
