Abstract
Excess molar enthalpies, H-m(E) at 298.15 and 308.15 K and atmospheric pres sure were measured for {x(1) di-n-butylether + x(2) 1-propanol + (1 - x(1) - x(2)) n-decane} and for their corresponding binary mixtures with a Calvet microcalorimeter. The experimental results were compared with those calcul ated by using the Nitta-Chao and UNIFAC models. Experimental values were al so used to test empirical expressions for estimating ternary properties fro m binary results, Variable-degree polynomials have been fitted to the resul ts.
