M. Martone, Hybrid nonlinear moments subspace processing for wireless communication systems using antenna arrays, IEEE SIGNAL, 47(5), 1999, pp. 1434-1441
It is shown that hybrid nonlinear (HNL) moments matrices can be used to ide
ntify a multichannel FIR system. The method outperforms the popular subspac
e method based on second-order statistics in loa SSR and or correlated nois
e, and it is fundamentally equivalent in terms of computational complexity.
The method is applied to the channel identification problem in a cellular
base station receiver employing antenna arrays.
