Abstract
This paper presents an analytical formulation of the transfer impedanc e of a hollow sphere. For thin shields, an approximation is given inst ead of the exact solution. The results could be used for verification of the transfer impedance measurement and development of a function de scribing screening effectiveness. Moreover, the transient voltage in t he shielding hollow sphere is calculated when a current pulse is injec ted into the poles of the sphere.
