Abstract
Reaction of 3-aminoflavone with phenyl isothiocyanate affords 3-isothiocyan ato flavones (3) along with 5-thioxo benzopyrano isoquinoline-7-ones (4) un der refluxing condition. The structures of the products have been elucidate d by IR, PMR & mass spectral studies.
