Abstract
The addition of dimethyl acetytenedicarboxylate to 3-thio-1,2,4-triazoles a fforded in good yield cycloadducts which were characterized by IR, mass and H-1 and (CNMR)-C-13 spectroscopy. On the basis of H-1 and C-13 chemical sh ifts the products were identified as 6-substituted 2-methoxycarbonyl-1,2,4- triazolo [3,4-b] 1,3-thiazin-4-ones(2).
