An overview of the treatment of schizoaffective disorder

Schizoaffective disorder is a common, chronic, and frequently disabling psy chiatric disorder. However, its pharmacologic treatment has not been well s tudied. The authors review studies of traditional and novel pharmacologic a gents in treatment of schizoaffective disorder, and based on the findings, present preliminary pharmacologic treatment guidelines for the disorder.
