The crystal structure and the magnetic properties of the Cu1-xMnxFe2-yAlyO4
(x = 0.4, 0.6; y = 0.0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8) system have been investigated
in the temperature range of 4.2 K similar to T > T-N. It is confirmed that
all samples are of the cubic spinel phase and have a collinear spin structu
re over the entire composition range. The dependence of the Mossbauer param
eters on the Al concentration is discussed, and the cation distribution in
the system is presented.
