Abstract
Fe-57 Mossbauer spectroscopy has been used to investigate the magnetic structure of GdNi2B2C (T-N similar to 20 K) doped with I at.% Fe-57. Our experiments on polycrystalline GdNi2B2C reveal the known spin-rear rangement magnetic phase transition at T-R similar to 14 K, which unti l now has not been observed in polycrystalline samples. A spiral-like spin structure with a variable angle between the moment direction and the b- or c-axis seems to be the correct model for the spin structure of GdNi2B2C.
