Abstract
Gordona aichiensis 51 was able to utilize dibenzothiophene and 4,6-dimethyl dibenzothiophene as sulfur sources when grown aerobically on glycerol or et hanol, which resulted in desulfurization of the compounds studied with the formation of hydroxybiphenyl and demethylhydroxybiphenyl, respectively.
