Abstract
Rate coefficients have been calculated for temperatures up to 10 000 K for the mutual neutralization of Li+ and H- from cross-section calculations bas ed on ab initio molecular potentials and couplings. Landau-Zener estimates are provided for the corresponding reaction in Li- and H+. Comparison is ma de with the results for the H+/H- reaction.
