Abstract
Thanks to the PAC, French agriculture, which had lon been protected from fo reign competition, has become a world-wide livestock and processed products export country, ranking second after the United States. But France differe ntiates itself from the united States, for three quarters of these products are exported on the European market and processed. France has thus become the first world-wide processed products export country. And if it wants to maintain this rank, it has to specialize in quality products to satisfy fir st European consumers.
