Abstract
The specific heat of the KTiOPO4 crystal has been measured with a vacuum ad iabatic calorimeter within the 80-300 K range. A peak-shaped anomaly in the specific heat indicating a phase transition has been revealed in the C-p ( T) curve at T congruent to 279 K. Numerical integration of smoothened exper imental C-p(T) curves yielded the thermodynamic functions of KTiOPO4, namel y, the entropy, enthalpy, and reduced Gibbs energy.
