Abstract
The possibility of determining the pair correlation function from measuring the diffraction of laser radiation by ordered grain structures in a nonide al thermal dusty plasma is examined. Estimates are obtained for the limitin g grain number density permitting the observation of the diffraction patter n. Test measurements of diffraction are carried out, and the correlation fu nction is determined for masks imitating the grain structures in a dusty pl asma.
